Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Jamestown is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Jamestown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My wife and I came here with our friend and her children. It was a well run pool, with the lifeguards constantly patrolling or on duty in their observation stations. They indeed have breaks where they make everyone get out of the pool periodically, and allow the guards to switch stations or rotate out shifts. It made me feel like by doing this it allowed the guards to stay fresh and keep focus on what's going on. Everything seemed pretty clean, and the water was cool today. There is a large sized pool, as well as plenty of areas to accommodate younger children. There's also 2 large slides for older children to go down. All in all, checking in and getting our wrist bands and setting up at a table was quick and painless. Had fun for a few hours and got our money's worth. Really enjoyed it here.

We visited High Point City Lake Park & Water Slide with the kids during a school trip, and we absolutely loved it! The whole place had such a fun, family-friendly vibe. The water area was clean, well maintained and felt very safe. The lifeguards on duty were very attentive and quick to respond, which made the experience even better and gave us peace of mind while the kids played. It’s such a great spot for kids to enjoy summer, cool off, and make memories. Definitely adding this to our list of must-visit summer places!

Disappointing experience...somehow cheap and still not worth it. We were only there about 50 minutes before my kid asked to leave and go home to play in our backyard inflatable pool. That pretty much says everything. For a public water park, the number of rules was ridiculous, and we're used to going to the Great Wolf Lodge pool a lot and they have a lot of rules, this park is ridiculous though. My child’s floaties apparently weren’t government approved. My plain blue swim shirt was also apparently not allowed. It had no writing, no logo, nothing offensive, just a plain shirt. It was also overcrowded on a weekday, so I would hate to see it on a weekend. Parking was not adequate at all, with cars lined up along the road and around the corner. The biggest issue was the pool breaks. In the 50 minutes we were there, they made everyone get out of the water twice for a β€œbreak” and stand around in the 98 degree heat staring at the pool for 5-10 minutes. After the second forced break, my kid was done and wanted to leave. The best part of the visit was honestly driving across the street to look at the dam. That was more enjoyable than the actual water park. Overall, this felt less like a fun

Amazing place for the entire family! It's small but honestly perfect. Not too much walking and you get a little of everything! A little lazy river, splash pad, water park for younger kids, large swimming pool, and 3 big slides to choose from! We went on a sunday. We reserved our space the day before but we saw plenty of people buying their entry at the door, so it may depend. Has concessions and plenty of clean restooms. A plethora of lifeguards. Amazing price! Maybe the only thing i could think to make it better would be to add more chairs/benches but plenty of people happily sat on the ground
